Higher initial cost, lower per-incident cost, and the practical choice for walls hit regularly.<\/p>\n<h2>The arithmetic<\/h2>\n<p>Each uncoated removal on porous masonry is solvent work priced accordingly, with cumulative wear on the wall face. Coated removal is fast, gentle and cheap. Two or three incidents on the same wall generally cover the cost of having coated it after the first.<\/p>\n<p>There is a strategic effect too: taggers learn which walls do not hold work. Fast removal plus a coating is the combination that retires a wall as a target.<\/p>\n<h2>Where they make sense<\/h2>\n<p>The repeat-target walls: alley faces, rear elevations, underpass-adjacent surfaces, anything that has now been hit more than once. Municipal structures and commercial rears are the classic candidates.<\/p>\n<p>On a wall tagged once in twenty years, skip the coating and just remove promptly.
